2025 Agenda

The 2025 Bayview Cup Agenda is finalized.
  • Thursday June 5, 2024 
  • 9:00pm - Pairings Announcement at The Leaside Pub
  • Friday June 21, 2024
  • 8:15am - Meet at Deverret's house 33 MacNaughton Road
  • 8:15am - 9:00am - Light breakfast and delicious drinks.
  • 9:00am - Bus departs from 33 MacNaughton Road to Shawneeki Golf Club (18543 Woodbine Ave, Sharon, ON L0G 1V0)
  • 10:00am - Arrive at Shawneeki, hit the range or bar.
  • 10:30am - First tee times, foursome go off every 9 minutes.
  • Complimentary lunch at the turn (burger, hot dog or Sausage & a Beer)
  • 6:00pm - Sit down Dinner
  • Bayview Cup Presentation and Beer Cup (Boat Race)
  • 8:00pm - Return to the Hood
  • 2025 Format & Rules

    Bayview Cup with 39 points up for grabs.

    • 26 Players per side (Leaside Blue Shirts Grey Shorts, Village White Shirts and Dark Shorts)
    • All Matches play from the White Tees
      • First 9 holes is 2 man Scramble. Each player hits a tee shot.  Select the best shot, then both players hit their next shot from there.  Continue until the ball is holed. A single team score will be entered into the scoring app.  Play preferred lies.
      • The first 9-hole match is worth 1 point. If the match is tied, each team earns 1/2 a point.
      • The last 9 holes is Singles, one Leasider vs one Villager.  Enter all players scores into the scoring app. 
      • The last 9-hole match is also worth 1 point. If the match is tied, each team earns 1/2 a point.
    • 39 points in total (13 for Scramble, 26 for singles), a team will need 20 points to win the cup. If the score is tied, it will be broken by a putt off between captains.
    • The tournament website will have automated scoring and standings. Just make sure one golfer in your foursome has a phone.
    • Closest to the pin on all par 3's ($100 Leaside Pub Gift Certificates)
    • One Random draw for a foursome at Shawneeki
    • All hazards and penalty areas (whether they are marked or not) will be played as lateral haazards. Take a one stroke penalty and drop a ball around where you think you lost it.
